May I suggest binging z and y to the interact / groundpound? I have a QWERTZ-Keyboard Layout (german keyboard) and I can't really play this like that. And I don't want to change my keyboard layout in windows all the time.

Feels very good to just move around in. I like it very much when devs take time to fine tune the movement in their game The art is also just... *chefs kiss* perfecto! Love the pastel color pallet.

Wow, this feels a lot better to control than before. I would say that it now rivals 127 for how nice it feels to move around and interact with enemies. This game is much crunchier, 127 the enemies feel week and tiny and Mario just kinda flies around off the hook.
Just played the original maybe like 3 months ago for the first time since 2007. It's freaky how close you got the feel to the original. The controls and physics feel so familiar, so familiar in fact my muscle memory works perfect.
You're gonna have the community level editor, right? It was 200x, dude. You can't fully emulate the spirit of indie web games without some kind of creative outlet tied in.

There's a menu to rebind your controls in-game. Does that help?
It Runs a little slow on my phone at a quality options in the menu

127 has a different goal and design philosophy, I don't think it's fair to make a comparison.
